\nHomeopathy is based on the theory of "Like Cures Like".

\nHomeopathy was discovered by Dr Samuel Hahnemann who found that if a substance can cause symptoms in a healthy person, then the same substance can be used to treat a person who is unwell presenting with the same symptoms.

\nWhat can I expect from Homeopathy
\nHomeopathy is based on treating the individual as a whole, the Homeopath will ask questions around your medical history, any symptoms you may be experiencing and how they affect you. We will look at when your symptoms began, your lifestyle, activities you enjoy, any struggles you may have and areas you would like help with.
\nThe key symptoms are then grouped together to come up with a remedy suitable for you.
\nThe initial consultation usually takes about an hour and a half. A follow-up appointment of up to an hour takes place four to six weeks later.
I will need to take into account all information discussed and look at some suitable remedies options. Then come up with the best one for you. I will contact you in a few days with your remedy.

\nHow Does Homeopathy Work?
\nHomeopathy works by taking a remedy that contains a minute amount of a substance, plant mineral or animal which has been diluted then shaken repeatedly.
\n
\nThe remedies are safe for children, adults and during pregnancy. The remedies do not interfere with prescription medication and works by stimulating the body's own ability to heal itself. Remedies are safe to be taken alongside prescription medication. Do not stop taking your prescription medication with out your doctors consent.

\nThe remedy will be prescribed as either pilule or liquid. The pilule is sucrose so best taken by dissolving under the tongue, one tiny pilule is often enough to generate a response.

\nWhere a liquid is prescribed, one drop is often all that is required on the tongue. Those sensitive can take one drop in a glass of water.
\n
\nAfter taking the remedy some clients notice an improvement of symptoms almost immediately while other it may take a couple of days. As Homeopathy is gentle, the changes are subtle and you may not notice initially.
