THE 70TH HARTS RANGE BUSH SPORTS WEEKEND
\n\n\n\n
Held annually at the Harts Range Racecourse, set in the majestic East MacDonnell ranges area, is the ‘Harts Range Bush Sports Weekend’ aka ‘Harts Range Races’. The NT August Picnic Races Public Holiday stem from this 70 year old tradition started at the Harts Range Racecourse, 215km East of Alice Springs on the Plenty Highway. See our Club History Page.

\nGates open Friday 7am. (Canteen open Friday 6pm to 9pm only).

Over 2 days of fun for all the family. Stock-horse Races, Rodeo, Gymkhana, Sports events including Running Races, Novelty Races for kids, Lizard Race, Ladies Cow Tail Toss, Tug of War and Jumping Castle for the little ones.
\n\n\n\n
Saturday Evening:
\n\nHarts Range Ball (Gentlemen require a tie). The theme for 2017 is “BLACK TIE”. (Please remember that this is a family event and children may be present).
\n\n\n\n
Sunday Evening:
\n\nHarts Range Dance with Talent Quest.
\n\n

Gate entry: Adults – Friday and Saturday $30/head, Sunday $15
\nChildren under 16 are free.
\n\n
Camping Fee: $10 per car, Camping facilities are provided – showers and toilets.
\n\n\n\n
Bring your own swag and firewood.
\n\n\n\n
BBQ’s and campfires are allowed.
\n\n\n\n
Catering is available courtesy of the Alice Springs Branch of ICPA-steak sangers,
\n\nhot food, drinks, sandwiches, ice-creams, lollies. No alcohol is sold over the
\nweekend – BYO only; however there will be ice available.
\n\n
