\n\nEsther is an Associate and Senior Project Architect at Grieve Gillett Andersen with specialist expertise in stakeholder engagement, community development, and public and commercial projects. Esther is able to navigate complex stakeholder relationships to deliver projects that are contextual, responsive, generous and one of collective ownership.
\n\n
\n\nEsther brings open dialogue and high energy to the projects she works on. She maintains a hands on approach in all her projects from client engagement, concept development to delivery. Her strength lies in listening and interpreting clients’ and stakeholder’s vision and aspirations, and embedding these through every stage of the design. Her proven experience in delivering a wide portfolio of award-winning works demonstrate her agility to deliver high quality outcomes on time and on budget.

\n\nEsther has successfully lead and managed the design and delivery of public and community based projects of varying scale within urban centres and in rural townships nationally and internationally. She has extensive architectural experience in the arts, urban design, masterplanning, heritage interpretation, social housing and welfare projects.

Esther is passionate about integrating social and cultural histories in placemaking. She possesses an underlying pragmatic sensibility and a critical eye for detail that enables her to approach each project with a balanced perspective as well as being able to explore new concepts and solutions.

\n\nEsther studied architecture at the University of East London and University of Adelaide. She has also completed a Masters in Development Studies with the University of New South Wales. Esther was awarded the 2017 South Australia Emerging Architect Prize, recognized as one of one of InDaily’s “South Australia’s 40 leaders under 40” and recently awarded the 2018 NAWIC South Australia (National Australian Women in Construction Award) for Project Innovation and Development.
