\n\nAna Bragança nasceu em 1984, no Porto, Portugal.
\n\n\n\n
Formada em arquitectura, Ana conclui o mestrado em “Architectural Design” na Bartlett (University College of London), em 2011.
\n\n\n\n
Chegou a exercer arquitectura no Luxemburgo e na Suíça, porém em 2012 ingressou no mundo da joalharia. Na altura a viver em Atenas, entrou em contacto com um atelier/laboratório de ourivesaria contemporânea, SynApeiro, onde começou a desenhar e a produzir as suas jóias.

Em 2014, no sentido de completar as suas competências profissionais, realizou um curso modular de Técnicas de Ourivesaria na Cindor e desde então tem vindo a desenvolver diferentes coleções entre Portugal e Suiça.

Ana Bragança was born in 1984, in Porto, Portugal.
\n\n\n\n
She is an architect with a Master degree in “Architectural Design” from The Bartlett (University College of London).
\n\n\n\n
She has worked as an architect in Luxembourg and Switzerland however, in 2012, she entered the world of jewellery. At the time, living in Athens, Greece, she has started designing and making her own jewellery learning from a handcraft jewellery laboratory called Syn Apeiro.
\n\n\n\n
In order to improve her jewellery skills, Ana attended a jewellery course at Cindor (Jewellery Vocational School of Gondomar) and from that moment on, she as been developing her collections between Portugal and Switzerland.

Ana Bragança é uma designer de jóias portuguesa que realiza joalharia contemporanea onde a criatividade, o design e a autenticidade se cruzam com o artesanato, qualidade e elegância.

Ana desenha e produz as suas peças, ou seja, esta envolvida desde o processo de criação conceptual até ao producto final.
\n\n\n\n
O seu carácter artístico e individual reflectem-se no seu trabalho, sendo este extremamente influenciado pelo seu anterior percurso arquitectónico. A Arquitectura está presente não só em termos de estilo, mas também em todo o processo de design e produção das jóias.
\n\nContornos e formas geometricas unem-se e/ou sobrepõem-se; linhas rectas convertem-se em redondas; escalas e volumes das joalharia tradicional são frequentemente desafiadas; as texturas são um recreio obsessivo para a autora. No final, podemos classificar a sua joalharia como minimalista e geometrica.

Acima de tudo, para Ana Bragança, a joalharia é uma forma de auto-definiçâo e de expressão pessoal, nâo só por parte do designer, como também por quem adquire e usa as suas jóias.

\n\nAna Bragança is a portuguese jewellery designer who produces imaginative contemporary pieces which combine creativity, design and authenticity with craftsmanship, quality and elegance.

Ana is the designer and also maker of her jewellery; she creates both the concept and the finish work.
\n\n\n\n
The work reflects the author’s individual artistic temperament, which is very much influenced by Ana’s architectural background.
\n\nArchitecture is present not only in terms of style but also in the design and production process.
\n\nGeometric shapes and forms are merged and/or overlapped; straight lines converge into round ones; conventional jewellery scale and volume are challenged; textures became a playground obsession. In the ende, we can classify her jewellery as minimalist and geometric.
