Please be aware that St Kilda Road runs all the way from the Melbourne CBD to St Kilda and we are located 6 km south of the CBD. If you can see the Shrine of Rembrance you are at the wrong end of St Kilda Road and need to travel south another 4km.

\n\nFrom Tullamarine Airport
\n\nFrom this airport, the simplest and most direct service is provided by SKYBUS, St Kilda between 6.15am and 6pm daily and it will bring you directly to the door of Habitat HQ. You do not need to make a reservation and the bus departs from outside TERMINAL 4 (Domestic Arrivals & Departures) between those times. Please note that the Skybus labelled "FRANKSTON" is the service that will drop you at our door, the other Skybus services labelled "ST KILDA" will drop you within a 10 minute walk from the hostel.
\n\n
\n\nAfter the above hours, Skybus also run a 24 hour shuttle from the airport to the CBD - Southern Cross Station. This is $21 per person and runs every 10 minutes during the day and 30 minutes overnight. From the CBD you can catch a TAXI to us for around $20.
\n
\nTaxi cost will vary depending on traffic but expect to pay a minimum of $65 from Tullamarine to Habitat HQ.
\n\n
From Melbourne City Centre CBD
\n\nCatch tram 3 (East Malvern) or 67 (Carnegie) from Swanston Street (out the front of Flinders Street Station & Federation Square), south towards St Kilda.
\n\n\n\n
We are at stop number 34 on the corner of Inkerman Street. The journey will take around 15 to 25 minutes, depending on the time of the day.
\n\n
\nA taxi from the CBD would be around $20 depending on traffic and where in the city you are coming from.
