Ladies football at ATWFC is undergoing a transformation with an acknowledgement that in order to be successful as a complete club we must be successful in all of our junior, men's and ladies football programs.
\n\n\n\n
With this in mind 2018 will be a big year for ATWFC following on from our success in 2017.
\n\n\n\n
Fees have been set realistically to encourage new players and reward those players who have been loyal to ATWFC for many years. Additionally we have appointed experienced and enthusiastic coaches who want to see our ladies program improve.
\n\n\n\n
2017 was a great season with a Division 1 team and 2 teams in Division 2. The Division 2 teams faced off in the semi final before one team ran out eventual Grand Final Winners. This silverwear added to the Knockout Cup trophy also won in 2017.

We had a number of our Junior Ladies make Bundaberg and Wide Bay teams while Lucy Hamilton in under 11 made the Queensland schoolgirls team.

In 2018 we have appointed Chris Ashby as our Ladies Football Director of Coaching and Chris will also coach the Division 1 team. Chris is a football fanatic but beyond that he has a love of the game and in particular the ladies game where Chris sees growth in Bundaberg, Australia and the all over the world in the next few years. Chris is passionate about not just developing great ATWFC teams but ensuring that ladies participation grows along with the skills of ladies footballers in the whole region.

If you are a returning ATWFC player, welcome back to the club in 2018 and we thank you for your loyalty. If you are new to ATWFC, welcome aboard our journey as a football club and we hope that find your time at ATWFC enjoyable and successful.
