Having significant experience working the Illawarra Shoalhaven (Wollongong, Shellharbour and Nowra) areas, Loan is acutely aware of needs for families, people of cultural and linguistic differences and the non-government sector and the gap that is present in our service systems. Ripples Allied Health Consultancy hopes to add to the field further resources, integrating within our community to service people who have fallen through these gaps, especially people who have experienced significant childhood trauma, which has an ongoing impact in their adult and family life.

\n\nIt is our goal to provide respectful services which are child-centred and evidence informed, to improve the lives of children, families and the child's network towards collaborative integration and healing; where having a joint interest in gaining a deeper understanding of the impact on the child's neurological development is the foundation of the treatment process.

\n\nLoan is an AHPRA approved Supervisor for Provisional Psychologists undergoing 4+2 and 5+1 pathways and continues to supervise students interested in developing practices in her chosen field. She is also a strong affiliate of the Australian College of Applied Psychology, providing Counselling students an opportunity to work with her clients - and allowing disadvantaged families access to further resources and services which may not be accessible to them.
