The Chinchilla Medical Practice moved to its present location within the Chinchilla Medical Centre opposite the water tower in May 1991, and expanded from 5 to 9 doctor’s rooms in November 2009. The Church previously on the site was retained in the modern architect-designed Medical Centre, which also includes Chinchilla Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Sullivan and Nicoladies blood collection rooms.
\n\nThe Chinchilla Medical Practice complies with the requirements of the Royal College of General Practitioners Standards for General Practices 4th Edition. Current Accreditation status is displayed in the waiting/reception area.

\n\nDr Clarke has developed a great interest in Skin Cancer Medicine. This led him to undertake a prolonged specialised education programme in the field and his attainment of a Post Graduate Diploma in Skin Cancer Surgery from the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine and a Masters in Medicine in Skin Cancer (University of Queensland).
\n\nAs well as interests in rural medicine, Tom has Post Graduate Diploma qualifications in Obstetrics and Paediatrics. When not practicing Medicine, Tom is a hopeful race horse owner and successful olive grower, with an orchard of around 700 olive trees on his property here in Chinchilla. Tom visits a dedicated skin cancer practice at Logan Central & Hope Island each fortnight and offers his services as a skin cancer proceduralist to their community.

\n\nAs a new year commences we sadly will be fare-welling Dr Marco Giuseppin, Dr Joel van der Meulen and Dr VJ Wijayatunga. We are lucky enough to be welcoming back Dr Meena Konda. Dr Rosalind Marshall will also be joining our team.

\n\nI have grown to love friendly small communities and persistent dry heat since living in Mount Isa, and look forward to making Chinchilla home.
