Kombi Hire Terms and Conditions

\n\nBy entering into this hire agreement, you agree that you have read, understand and accept these terms and conditions.
\n\n
\n\nBookings
\n\n1. Bookings are accepted based on condition that the Hirer accepts these terms and conditions
\n\nBookings, Payments and Rates
\n\n
\n\n2. The person making the booking is considered the "Hirer" and responsible for all finances incurred with the booking.
\n\nA booking fee is required. Bazil is not fully confirmed for the date required until that booking fee is received.
\n\n\n\n
3. Once your booking fee is received, either by cash, direct credit to our account, we will confirm the booking details with a booking confirmation form.
\n\n\n\n
4. The outstanding balance is to be paid a week prior to the event.
\n\n\n\n
5. An intentions itinerary of the booking will be required before hire date, this is so we have a good understanding of what is required.
\n\n\n\n
6. Confirmed booking dates can be altered providing we have at least 2 weeks notice and subject to availability due to other bookings. Minor time variations can also be altered given at least 48 hours notice by phone/email.
\n\n\n\n
7. Prices are based on standard travel within a 40km radius of Central Christchurch. Hire outside this will attract additional fees of $1.60 per kilometre.
\n\n\n\n
8. The hire relates to travel for the events main activities and carrying only the main parties using the vehicle for that event.
\n\n\n\n
9. Any time over-runs outside the original booked time frames are charged at the rate of half-hour normal hourly rate provided it does not interfere with another booking for that day. If it is deemed the extra time will interfere with another hire period, the driver reserves the right to
\n\nrefuse extra hire time.
\n\n
\n\nDamage
\n\nAll passengers are politely reminded to respect Bazil & authenticity, and pristine condition and to avoid any action that might damage their exterior and/or interior. Any damage caused by passengers, guests, or photographer or through third party incitement will be the sole responsibility of hirer to CKC. Should any passenger be sick in the Kombi a professional cleaning fee of $150 will be levied.
\nThe hirer will be held responsible for any financial costs relating to damage to vehicles if caused by them or any of their guests.
\n\nCancellation
\n\nIn the event of the cancellation of a hire of Bazil we will not refund the deposit.
\n\nIf any extra payments have been made prior 28days to the hire please contact us as soon as possible we will refund your money excluding the deposit .Less than 28 days Prior to hire there will be no refund.
\n\n\n\n
Vehicles
\n\nBazil is maintained to high standard in order to minimise possible mechanical failure, however, in case of a mechanical problem prior to the event or occurs during the hire period, we will do everything we can to get you to the required destination on time with another Bazil lookalike if possible. If this is not possible, we will supply a modern vehicle at no additional cost and refund your hire cost and provide Bazil for photos or event at a later date.
\n\nNo further compensation will be made or paid and no liability will be accepted by the operator.
\nBazil is fitted with modern stereo equipment for you enjoyment.
\n\nSafety
\n\nIn the interests of passenger safety, any call by the driver relating to safety must be adhered to.
\n\nBecause of the age of Bazil means that seat-belts are not fitted to the rear seats (allowable by law), where seat belts are fitted, passengers must wear these seat belts during travel. We do not have any specialised child restraint facilities.
\n\nAdults must wear seat belts if they are fitted. Children permitted, however seated at all times in the vehicle. No standing in the vehicle while moving
\n\n
\n\nTravelling
\n\nThe driver reserves the right to alter the route and timings undertaken, (within reason) in accordance with road, traffic and weather conditions.
\n\nThe driver also has the right to not travel on unsafe roads or in dangerous weather conditions.
\n\nWe are not responsible for Acts of God, adverse traffic conditions or delays caused by hirer/clients. Smoking is forbidden in the vehicle.
\n\nDrinking is only allowed when vehicle is not travelling.
\n\nWhile the driver will endeavour to keep client’s property safe and secure in rear compartment areas, it is also the client's responsibility to insure the security of their own personal effects in the vehicle.
\n\nThe driver reserves the right to refuse travel to passengers over intoxicated, being abusive or exhibiting unsafe behaviour. The driver has the right to terminate any or all services due to extreme behaviour.
\n\nLate arrival - Under no circumstances will CKC be held responsible financially or otherwise for loss or damages arising from being late for pickup, photography stops and drop offs.
\n\nNo standing on seats Smoking is not permitted In the vehicle. Advertising
\n\nAdvertising, promotion and Social Media
\nCKC reserves the right to publish photographs taken by its staff or others of an event unless expressly requested otherwise.
\n\nLiability
\n\nClothing and possessions - Whilst CKC is mindful of passenger safety and protection of clothing and personal possessions no responsibility is held for any loss or damage arising. It is the sole responsibility of hirer to ensure all such items are removed from Kombis at the end of hire period. Repatriation is at sole expense of hirer , CKC will not be held responsible nor be indebted in anyway if such matters arise.
\n\n\n\n
Heath & Safety Kombi Hazards
\n\nOur Kombis are reasonably high off the ground to get in and out of we ask that you have three points of contact when entering and departing the vehicle. Were possible we will provide a step to make this easier to negotiate.
\n\nOur Kombis has two double doors to enter and exit by there is a chance of fingers getting caught.
\nWe recommend and ask that you leave the opening and shutting to the driver to stop this from happening and also prevention from damaging the vehicle. This also applies to the rear boot door.
Due to the age of our Kombis being over 50 years old is not fitted with seat belts in the rear we ask that all passengers remained seated during there journey in case of breaking hard.
\n\nThe Kombi is regularly serviced and kept to COF standards and cheeked before every journey by our driver to minimises Hazards from happening .
\nIf you see anything that is a hazard and we are unaware please tell your Driver as soon as Possible.
