Group Lessons

Our lessons are relaxed and friendly. We aim to get you standing up, paddling and turning in the hour and half.

We have a board familiarisation and theory at our location, then its straight out on the water to get in to it. Most of our lessons happen at Cairns Wake Park, Smithfield or Kewarra Beach as they offer the most favourable conditions for SUP lessons.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are ideal for people wanting some one-on-one time with an instructor. With a choice of male or female instructors, you can feel completely comfortable to learn to SUP.

If you would like to extend your SUP skills and technique, or have specific training goals, we can assist you to achieve this with private lessons.
\n\n\n\n
Private Lessons are held on SATURDAY ONLY or a time can be arranged.

At What'SUP Cairns we now have a dedicated SUP School that is staffed by professional instructors. Our focus is to teach all aspects of SUP skills needed to safely and efficiently become a confident paddler. Our lessons focus on practical exposure to on land and water instruction for enclosed waters with progression through to open water paddling. Even if you have experience we can assist in technique correction to maximise your paddling efficiency.
