The Hobart Dog Walking Association conducts social walks for members.

\n\n

 

\n\n

The walks are a great way to explore areas where you can exercise
\nyour dog in the Hobart, Clarence, Glenorchy and neighbouring municipalities.

\n\n

After the walks we often go for coffee.

\n\n

Meet at bottom of Tynwald Park carpark, Lyell Highway, New Norfolk. Note this is the carpark at the end of the park near the fenced football oval and footbridge. It is not the carpark close to the highway, barbecues and children's play area.

Option 1:  Walk along the Derwent River, along the Esplanade, into the township to Patchworks Cafe, in Willow Court (return via) Lachlan River Track.
\n\n
Option 2: Walk along Lachlan River and meet us at Patchworks about 1.45pm or drive straight to Patchworks.

This is an Anzac Day themed walk.
\n

The walk starts at the Claremont War Memorial, Cadbury Road, Claremont. There is a carpark and war memorial facing the bay. Claremont was where Tasmanians enlisted for World War One.  From there we walk to Berriedale and the service dogs' war memorial via Windermere Bay and the foreshore track.
