The Advanced Diploma of Program Management gives you the strategic project management skills to act as the conduit between multiple individual projects and senior management. It is suitable for experienced project managers who have (or are about to) run a number of projects concurrently.

\nThe course has a strategic focus and covers the skills and knowledge required to make the transition from managing an individual project to managing multiple projects. It has greater breadth and vision than the Diploma of Project Management, while also revisiting the role of the project manager.
\nThe qualification incorporates a blend of formal learning and personal experiences. It provides pragmatic understanding of how to manage the areas of greatest importance to most Program Managers, Project Directors and other senior managers involved in the oversight of projects.
This course is suitable for a wide range of roles across different industry sectors including:

\n- Project Management Facilitator
\n- Project or Program Administrator
\n\nThis qualification requires students to have completed a Diploma of Project Management or have completed two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level within a project or program environment within an enterprise. A current CV is required to be supplied on application.
\n\nStudents must have regular and reliable access to a computer and to the internet to undertake learning and assessment activities. Minimum requirements for computer systems and internet are:
\n\na) Operating System: Windows Vista or later; Mac OS X Leopard (v10.5) or later

Students have 12 months to complete the course requirements with option to complete early. This includes:

\n\tdistance learning with one-on-one support from a dedicated trainer/assessor
\n\tself-directed learning and assessment tasks including preparation of an evidence portolio.

Follow-up by Charter Australia’s Program Team, including an ‘assessment due’ reminder system; monthly progress update and courtesy calls at regular intervals for general progress and feedback on Charter Australia services; and follow-up on non-submission of assessment.
\n\tAccess to the allocated assessor via phone/fax/email for educational assistance with a benchmark response time of less than 24 hours.
\n\tPrivate tutorials may be arranged when needed at no additional charge. Tutorials can be conducted via face-to-face or web conference.
\n\tA student may exit from this qualification at any time with a Statement of Attainment for any units of competency successfully completed up to that point.
\n\n
\n\nAfter achieving this qualification, candidates may choose to undertake studies at a higher education level. Some tertiary and professional bodies are considering providing recognition for the Advanced Diploma of Program Management through advanced standing in membership or studies.
