class=\"font_5\">Victorian Cancer Biobank</h5>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span class=\"wixGuard\">​</span></p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">The Victorian Cancer Biobank is a not-for-profit consortium of tissue banks, supported by&nbsp;the Victorian Government through the Victorian Cancer Agency.&nbsp;Our purpose is to provide high quality, ethically obtained biospecimens to support research that will eventually lead to improvements in cancer diagnosis and treatment.</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span class=\"wixGuard\">​</span></p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">Since operations commenced in 2006, more than 19,000 Victorians undergoing cancer and other surgery have donated blood and surplus tissue to the Biobank,&nbsp;applications have been received from over 140 cancer research groups located within Australia and overseas, and more than 33,000 biospecimens prepared from donated blood and tissues have been supplied.&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\"><span class=\"wixGuard\">​</span></p>\n\n<p
