Old Government House is located at the end of George Street at QUT's Gardens Point campus, next to the City Botanic Gardens and only a 10 minute walk from the city centre.
\n\nMonday 10am – 4pm
\n\nTuesday 10am – 4pm
\n\nWednesday 10am – 4pm
\n\nThursday 10am – 4pm
\n\nFriday 10am – 4pm
\n\nSaturday Closed

Tour Queensland Parliament
\nParliament House is located at the corner of George and Alice Streets and is within easy walking distance of the Brisbane CBD.
\n
General Public Tours - Monday to Friday
\nNo booking is required.
Please Note: All visitors to Parliament House require government issued photo identification.
\n\nTours operate Monday to Friday throughout the year except on public holidays.
\n\nOn days when the Parliament is not sitting, tours commence at: 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm & 4 pm.
\nOn days that the Parliament is sitting, one tour is available which commences at 2pm.

Southbank beach
\n\nA major feature within the parkland is its man-made beach, which is 2,000 square metres of free-formed concrete surrounded by 4,000 cubic metres of sand. The parklands are connected to the City by the Victoria Bridge at the northern end, and to Gardens Point by the Goodwill Bridge at the southern end.
