Community Access Subcommittee 
\n Terms of Reference

\n\n


\na)      Provide a forum for discussion of maximising community access to resources in Victorian public libraries
\nb)      Provide information and resources in an equitable, cooperative and cost effective manner
\nc)       Enhance access to resources and knowledge through cooperation among the member institutions for the benefit of their user community
\nd)      Ensure statewide access t a core level of materials and information services, regardless of geographic location, size of library services or mode of information/library delivery.
\ne)      Place the public library at the forefront of the delivery of authoritative, current and free information
\nf)       Increase public awareness and usage of the resources which are available to meet  information, knowledge, leisure and other needs
\ng)      Maximise professional development opportunities for PLV members
\nh)      Provide regular strategic, analytical and quantitative reports to PLV members
\n  
\nMeetings
\nQuarterly – about 2 weeks before PLV General Meeting.
