My name is Jemaya Adelaide Fisher im 19 years old, born and raised in Hornsby, Sydney Australia. I am a self-taught artist based in watercolours but have been creating since I could walk. I get my creative side from my mother who has surrounded me with art my entire life, I was lucky enough to have a very colourful upbringing that has a massive effect on my art today.
\n\nMost of my personal work is a depiction of my emotional state, often taking advantage of mistakes and making them features. I love to paint with watercolours but express my art through a variety of different mediums. My style is very ethereal, fantasy kind of vibe I love to draw creatures that only exist in the imagination among other wild wacky creations. Art is very a special part of my life, it is where I feel most relaxed, at home and I find it’s the best way to express my personality or emotions at the time.
\n\nMy biggest inspirations come from story books I read as a kid and art books my mum had lying around the house, among other influential artists like Salvador Dali, Tim burton and Reg Mombassa to name a few.
\n\nIn the future I don’t have an exact place I would want to end up but I want to be traveling around the world and Australia tattooing, leaving my heart and imagination in people's skin. This is a massive dream come true for me and I hope your somebody who would love to have a piece of my artwork to carry with you through your life.
