The Murray Bridge Community Nursery is open every day except on days of extreme heat and/or bushfire danger. Our volunteering days are Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. We offer:

\n\n* Landcare resource & education training
\n\n* Environmental monitoring (birds, frogs, bats, water quality)
\n\n* Habitat resources such as bat & bird boxes
\n\n* Available for use by school/community & NRM groups
\n\n* Organic gardening
\n\n* Aquaponics, worm farms & composting system displays
\n\n* Local native plants for retail or wholesale purchase
\n\n\n\n
We are not just a nursery, but a training and learning facility for everyone of all ages and backgrounds. We demonstrate propagation, germination, water quality monitoring and the ability to grow as individuals while working as a part of a team. As well as being a nursery, we're here to supply other community groups with native plants for their projects and to support our local farmers and landholders.

We can provide advice on setting up wicking beds, revegetation projects such as shelterbelts for stock,

\n\nWe have a learning and resource centre with loads of useful information. We can provide plant lists for your area and even undertake site visits to help you with your plans.
\n\n
\n\nSchools and community groups are welcome to visit and spend some time with our staff and volunteers and are encouraged to be part of our luscious vegetable garden.

The Nursery is open to the public Mon - Fri 9am to 3pm.
