\n\nHere is the story of how I came up with this design.
\n\n
\n\nA professional couple had just moved to Perth from overseas when they first contacted me. Their newly purchased residence was a beautiful shell, but needed to reflect their style. Modern Italian designer furniture was on water from the UK and part of the brief was for us to design and implement functional,
\n\nstatement pieces, which would aesthetically enhance the existing space and complement their soon to arrive furniture.

\n\nThe 584m beautifully appointed residence with all the high end creature comforts, sold for $1.25 million in record time, yielding a good return for our client!

\n\ndifferentiate it from the "Jarrah house", which was build simultaneously on the subdivided block, by 'Novus Homes', for our client - a freelance high end developer.

Although the adjacent houses share common features, we gave each dwelling its distinctive character.

During the initial consultation I advised the wall separating the dining and lounge, be deleted, in favor of a stylish room divider, which would open up the area and the flow.. .
\n\nTheir reply was challenging, nonetheless excited me! Do it - they said - but we want it with a fire place and a swivel TV with the capability of being watched from every angle in the living, dining and kitchen!

\n\nI instantly envisaged a structure which would resemble the numbers 5 and 2, depending on the side from which it was viewed, so I said: -Yes can do!

I proposed drew and rendered in on 3D that very week and presented it to the clients, featuring two additional utilities - a mirror and a secret media compartment.
\n\nClients were thrilled and as soon as I was able to source the timber which would work with their Italian furniture (still on water at the time) we had it made.
