PHOTOPOLYMER WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS LIST

\n\nWe want this workshop to be a success for you, prepare your imagery well beforehand.
\n\nPlease email annie your images at least 1 week before the workshop. Email 4 - 6 Jpegs up to 12cm square 300dpi Annie will make high quality transparencies to expose to your plate. Images with lots of tone and detail work best, see below.

There will be a materials fee of $20 payable at the workshop.
\nIncluded in this fee will be: comprehensive notes, transparencies, A4 Printight plate and test strips. We also supply sundries and inks.
\n\n
Bring a pencil, Hercules Tough Task blue nitrile gloves from Woolworths, apron and printmaking paper.
\n\n
\n\nFurther Printight plates will be available at $14 per A4 sheet.
\n\nSuitable images for photopolymer plates have a broad range of tone and detail, see these B/W images below as a guide.

\n\nThe interior on the left started out as an etching but there were a few parts that didn’t work well. The initial print was scanned into Photoshop & manipulated. Photopolymer plate is excellent for the ‘a la poupée’ technique because of the way it holds the ink and does not affect the colours like other metal plates.
