OUR 10th ANNIVERSARY WORKSHOP

We have a really amazing workshop planned for our 10th year at Il Bisonte.
\n\nIn addition to our scheduled classes and as our gift to you we will have extra celebrations in the studio several evenings after class. We have called this 'Printmaking with a Prosecco'
\n\n\n\n
We plan to make this an informal “Tips & Tricks” gathering where we can enjoy a Prosecco with canapes and talk about and practice printmaking skills such as drypoint, collagraph, stencil, monoprint and maybe we can look at making something of a print that just hasn't worked as yet.
\n\n
\n\nAfter these evening classes we might walk around to one of our favourite restaurants near the studio in S Nicolo before wending our way home.
\n\n
\n\nThis year we included for the first time a ‘studio pouch’ for all of your small printmaking paraphernalia, next year we plan to extend this gift to all participants to augment this occasion. Pictured on the right this years 'Studio Pouch" and a little hand made book containing a print by all attendees that we put together for everyone to take home as a memento.
\n\n
\n\nWe have been invited by Il Bisonte to exhibit our works next year as part of their way to celebrate this milestone occasion with us. The exhibition is scheduled to run 30 April to 17 May. We will have an opening party in the famous Il Bisonte Gallery with everyone invited to join us.

\n\nWe have a golden rule, always ask 'what floor' because the old medieval stairs are just a little higher than those at home and even the fittest amongst us may find it difficult at the end of a busy day. We opt for an apartment with an elevator if it's over one floor up.
\n\nThe area you choose is very important as the studio is in San Niccolo in the Oltrarno - the other side of the river. It's good to be able to walk to the studio.
\n\nBest areas are Piazza della Signoria - near Uffizzi - Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce. Find the area on a map and avoid the very steep hill near the Boboli gardens.
