Our fees are determined by the doctor you see. Please ensure you are aware of any fees payable prior to your appointment.

Bulk Billing Doctors

\n\n

Weekends and Public Holidays

Appointments on weekends and public holidays with any doctor will incur a fee. All new patients must pay the full consultation fee if your first visit at the practice is on a weekend or public holiday. Please ensure you are fully aware of any fees payable prior to your appointment. Other Fees

\n\n

1. Failure to attend fee: $50. This fee may be payable should you fail to attend your appointment without advising us at least 15 minutes prior.

\n\n

2. Prescription fee without attendance: $20 for existing patients of this practice.

\n\n

​

\n\n

3. Completion of Specialist referral without attendance: $20 for existing patients of this practice.​

Nursing Home Fees

\n\n

\n\n

Our doctors look forward to continuing care for our patients who move to a nursing home in Rockhampton. For regular patients of CQ Doctors medical visits to nursing homes will usually be bulk-billed.

Home Visits

\n\n

\n\n

Home visits are offered by our doctors to regular patients of our practice (within Rockhampton- 5km of the practice). We do not bulk-bill home visits. For fees on home visits please call our practice.

After-hours Care (Outside of our normal opening hours)

\n\n

\n\n

If the matter is life-threatening call 000.

If you need to see a doctor after hours we recommend the following options:

\n\n

1. Present to the Rockhampton Hospital Emergency Department .  Ph 4920 6211

\n\n

2. Present to the Mater Hospital Emergency Care Centre , Ward St Rockhampton, Ph (07) 4931 3416 .  Fees apply.

\n\n

3. Call House Call Doctor on 13 55 66. 
\n 

\n\n

Queensland Health also offer a phone advice service at 13HEALTH (13 43 25 84)

Should you wish to see a doctor from CQ Doctors outside of our normal opening hours please call Hillcrest Hospital Outpatients Department on 4932 1161.  Attendance by one of our doctors will only be considered for urgent, but not life-threatening matters, and is at the discretion of the on-call doctor.  We will not attend for routine matters that can wait until regular opening hours.

Fees apply for after-hours care are:

Before 11pm : $200

\n\n

After 11pm: $400 after 11pm. 

\n\n

We do not bulk-bill any after-hours care.

\n\n

Most of our doctors admit to the Hillcrest Hospital and the Mater Hospital Rockhampton.
