The CFO works with the in house accounting team and oversees the businesses finance function. A part time CFO generally works a minimum of two days per month and regularly for some businesses works more than one day per week.

\n\tThe Part Time CFO Service
\n\n\t· Will develop a tailored program to take responsibility for the financial function of the business with the support of the in house finance team.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t· Attend a half day monthly board or owners meeting and present the financial results for the preceding period and work as either an advisory board member or part of the senior management team.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t· Will attend the business at least one and a half days per month.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t· A weekly catch up by phone or on line for bookkeeping support and advice and updating of business owner or CEO.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t· Daily availability for top of mind business issues.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t
\n\n\tThe costs of a Part Time CFO will range from a base of $4,000 per month. All fees are structured on a fixed monthly retainer basis and compares very favorably with the cost a full time CFO.
