Being a non ex Easts player John brings a refreshing approach and ideas to the board. John was elected President at the 2014 AGM after serving as Vice President of House since 2011.

\nVince first became involved at Easts in the early 80’s. Although his playing career saw him involved in the Sydney sub-district competition he has always been a passionate Easts devotee. As a Chartered Accountant in public practice with over 25 years experience he was the obvious choice from the board to take on the role as Treasurer.

Director: Peter Shipway
\nPeter association with Easts goes back to the dinosaur era when he was ball boy for 5 years in the late 1950’s.
\nHe was a member of the famous Vaucluse Boys High 2nd XV in 1967 and went onto to captain the Easts Under 16’s in the mid 1960’s.
\nHe soon realised as a rugby player he was a good yachtsman. He was long time board member in the 1990s and 2000 eras and was twice Easts clubman of the year. A passionate Easts man

Director: David Leckie
\nDavid played Rugby at Newington College from 1962 – 1968. He was Club Captain at Macquarie University in 1972 when they won all the grades in 2nd Division. David was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Seven Media Group in December 2006 and had been Chief Executive Officer of Broadcast Television for Seven Network Limited since April 2003 and remains a consultant for the Seven Network. Previously, 24 years with the Nine Network, with 11 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nine Network.

Director: Kate Vanstone
\nKate has had a long association with rugby, beginning at a very young age with her watching her father play. She has remained a passionate supporter of the game and her son now plays for Bays, one of the clubs that make up Easts Juniors. Kate has been on the Bays committee since 2012 in the capacity of Public Officer and Secretary. Kate’s “day” job has been in investment banking for nearly 30years and she is currently working at the NAB. Kates role on the Easts Board is that of Junior – Senior club liaison she is also VP of our junior club the Bays. Kate will act as a communicator between the junior and senior clubs and will work to ensure that there is a mutually supportive and close working relationship between the clubs.

Pauli Taumoepeau

\n\n. Pauli has had a wealth of experience in both playing and coaching. Pauli captained Easts 1st Grade and represented Easts in 54 matches, previous to this he represented Australia in Schoolboys and Barbarians as well as holding contracts at Yokogawa (Japan Top League) and the ACT Brumbies (Super Rugby). More recently in coaching Pauli has been involved with St. Joseph's, Newington, Scots, Cranbrook and St. Andrew's schoolboy programs. In 2015 Pauli took up the role of NSW Country Eagles development coach alongside his coaching role at Easts.

\n\nThe chaplain is a support role to all players and staff within the East Rugby Club. The role provides personal and practical support to coaches and support staff in achieving match-readiness and also helps to strengthen connections within the East's family.
\n\nTim is available to contact at any time during the week and is usually around at training and on match day. Tim has experience in youth work, sports coaching and corporate leadership.
\n\nTim is a member of Sports Chaplaincy Australia Incorporated.

\n\nA unique, bespoke service that assists secondary students and parents to navigate the further education sector. Includes: initial one-hour face-to face consultation, follow-up and individualised research and investigation.
\n\nThe aim of this service is:

\n\tto support the decision making process for placement of a student in a tertiary level course or other course that meets their needs and enables them to develop their knowledge, skills and attributes.
