ACCCK is a highly accredited non-profit, 67-place Child Care Centre and Kindergarten offering full-time and part-time care for children from six weeks to six years of age. The centre is open on Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.30pm excluding public holidays. ACCCK has 4 educational rooms, kitchen, laundry and staff facilities. There are 2 separate yards, one for the rainforest room; the other yard is shared between the other three rooms. The outdoor area is located on approximately a ¼ of an acre and consists of large trees to form natural shading, a recycled watercourse which runs through the centre of the large yard, vegetable garden beds, climbing forts, slide and swings.

The National Quality Framework came into effect on the 1 January 2012. This has involved the introduction and implementation of the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) The Education and Care Services National Law Act (2010) and the National Quality Standard (2011). This important reform will deliver a higher standard of care for children in the critical areas of education, health and safety and will provide clearer and comprehensive information for families so they can choose the best services for their child.

The National Quality Standard is linked to the National Early Years Learning Framework (2009) which recognises that children learn from birth. Combined with the inclusion of the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (2009), these frameworks outline fundamental components to inform and guide educators in the delivery of nationally consistent and high quality experiences and programs across Australia. The Rainforest room caters for 12 children, the room caters for any child who turns two years old after the 30th of April in that year. There are 4 educators within this room, 2 Diploma level educators and 2 certificate 3 level educators.

The Dolphin room caters for 16 children and is a pre kinder room, the room caters for children turning 3 years old in that year. There are 2 educators within this room, 2 Diploma level educator.

\n\nThe Kindergarten room caters for 22 four year old funded kindergarten children. There are 2 educators within this room an Early Childhood Teacher and a Diploma trained educator.
