Credit Transfer is available to participants enrolling in any BLTI course program. Credit Transfer involves the awarding of credit towards a qualification, granted to participants on the basis of outcomes gained through participation in courses with another RTO.

Recognition can result in the awarding of a nationally recognised qualification or in the issuing of a Statement of Attainment for part of a qualification rather than a whole qualification. You may not need a whole qualification depending on your job role, so a Statement of Attainment may be more relevant to you.

All qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other Registered Training Organisations are fully recognised by BLTI. Where appropriate, these can be used to reduce a training program being offered by BLTI.

Participants seeking recognition for other qualifications are required to provide original certificates or certified copies to BLTI Admin and Head Trainer or, in some cases, to the course trainer, who will make note of the qualification.

BLTI recognises that many participants acquire vocational skills from a variety of different sources outside of formal training. These skills are valid, irrespective of how they were acquired.
\n\tParticipants who believe they have existing skills and knowledge that would be covered in a BLTI training program should apply at time of enrolment to have their expertise assessed and, where appropriate, to have their particular training program reduced.
\n\tParticipants can make an application for RPL at any time during their training program. An RPL application pack is available from BLTI Student Services

Recognition is the process by which your existing skills, knowledge and experience gained throughout your life, regardless of how they have been acquired, are recognised towards the achievement of a nationally recognised qualification or statement of attainment.
