About Couture Costume by KD

I'm Karina Doig; & I am a hard-working & passionate maker of all things costume & dancewear! Being a high-level competitive dancer & calisthenics girl for over 23years I can understand the way a dancer's body moves & how comfort should come at no cost to design.

I like to work in collaboration with my clients; incorporating their vision with practicality & comfort.  I've been lucky enough to receive some amazing industry opportunities that have helped me to create my own place in the costume industry with Couture Costume by Karina Doig.

\n\n

Couture Costume by Karina Doig deals with every process of making a costume. As well as tailoring costumes to each performer, I also deal with designing, client communication, quoting, invoicing, accounting, finance management, cutting, creating large sets of costumes as well as one off pieces, maintaining & updating my Facebook page with new work that I’ve done and also packing & delivering the costumes locally and interstate.

It's amazing to be able to work with dancers of every age & genre from around the world & I aim to make sure that every client receives 5 star customer service along with a garment that they 'want to wear forever'.

Thank-you for joining me on this incredible journey, we celebrated 4 years of CCDW this July & 5 years of CCKD in February, and I still get a goofy grin on my face each time my phone dings with a new order!!
