\n\nNatasya is an accredited International Coaching Community (ICC) Coach who has spent the last 20 years training and developing capabilities and skills in small businesses through to large corporates. She is also a certified Mindful Self-Compassion trainer and teaches 8 week Mindful Self-Compassion programmes and Weekend Wellness Retreats.
\n\n
\n\n2014 Natasya learnt the cold hard challenges of Autism while diagnosing and helping her son to manage his autism.
\n\n
\n\n2015 Natasya came across Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) and fell in love with what it did for her personally and professionally while contracting at 2degrees on a major IT system implementation.
\n\n
\n\n‘At a time in a project like this where I would often not sleep well at all, I slept like a baby and kept an even keel. Hooked, I became a Mindful Self-compassion teacher to learn how to teach Mindful Self-Compassion and share the tools and practice with anyone who wants to try it.’
\n\n
\n\n‘For me it was a life changer. I had been beating myself up for not getting my son diagnosed, for blaming his day-care and for not being a good parent. I finally learnt to forgive myself.’
\n\n\n\n
More recently Natasya has done pro bono work with Mount Roskill Police Community Workers, providing guidance for community initiatives enabling them to strategically align the programme with measurable outcomes to show their funders.

Many of us have a harsh critic within, berating us at times, reminding us of times things went wrong in the past, affecting our confidence here and now.

\n\nSelf-Compassion is a powerful practice of:
\n\nturning towards and acknowledging difficult thoughts and feelings with a spirit of openness, acceptance and curiosity
\n\tthen responding to these difficult feelings with kindness, empathy and understanding.

\n\nLearning to treat yourself with kindness brings many benefits, including:
\n\ncapacity to handle difficult situations and emotions with greater ease
\n\tbeing able to motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
\n\thandling challenging relationships better

\nResearch shows self-compassion greatly enhances emotional well-being, boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and helps maintain healthy lifestyle habits. What's really exciting is that the effects of self-compassion practice appears to show measurable improvements on biological markers of stress in the body.
\nThe wonderful news is that Self-Compassion is a skill that can be learned which helps us to feel happier, more at ease and can improve health.

This can be done through the practice of accepting what’s going on in our life and repeatedly wishing goodwill toward ourselves and others.
