We want players to fall in love with the game, have fun, and build habits for infinite development - such as hard work, commitment, pursuit of excellence and enjoyment.

\n\nStep two: Offer a one environment pathway.
\n\n\n\n
New Zealand Football’s strategic plan states that "the development of players should take place in a single environment under the guidance of highly qualified coaches to ensure consistency of learning.”
\n\n\n\n
To achieve this, New Zealand Football plans to reduce the scope of the FTC programme and encourage clubs to lead and deliver comprehensive development programmes from “cradle to grave". The Infinity Academy will do exactly this by providing:

\n\nmore trainings, games and other development options;
\n\ta structured and enjoyable training curriculum, in a single and consistent environment;
\n\ta positive and professional environment that engages and challenges players; and
\n\ta clear pathway from junior football to youth football to senior football.

\n\nStep 3: Help players to reach the next level.
\n\n\n\n
Provide players with new opportunities to pursue their passion for football.
\n\n\n\n
For example:
\n\n
\n\nTauranga City United senior teams will have an increased focus on youth development;
\n\twe have a strong working relationship with the Wellington Phoenix, and will be securing trials for players at the appropriate level to trial with the Wellington Phoenix Academy; and
\n\twe will be providing opportunities to play against other leading clubs and academies throughout New Zealand, such as the Swifts Talent Centre.
