Our early language learning experiences begin with our ABCs and these are the building blocks for communication and building connections and relationships with others and ourselves. Negative experiences sometimes block the pathways and we can become isolated and feel disconnected from everything. The therapeutic process whether it is psychologically focused or counselling can assist you to bring about positive change in your life and become more resilient. Everyone is different and has a different life story and at different stages of development may benefit from objective, sensitive and professional support. At ABC Psychology Plus you are accepted as a unique and valued person and treated with respect  and confidentially.

How much does it cost? 
\n\n

Individual Counselling sessions/ psychological sessions last 50 minutes and cost $120 discounted to $100 for Health Care Card holders.

\n\n

If you have a referral from you GP and a Mental Health Care Plan significant rebates of $84.80 per session are available  through Medicare  for six sessions initially and possibly up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. 

\n\n

 

\n\n

Couple counselling sessions cost $135.00 per 50 minute session.

\n\n

ABC Psychology Plus is a private practice and does not normally bulk bill unless there are extreme hardship circumstances and this would be negotiated on a needs basis individually.  

\n\n

 

\n\n

Wellbeing tune-ups of 30 minutes duration cost $60.

\n\n

These are also  available as pre-paid gift vouchers to family and friends and include a gentle 10 minute relaxation.

\n\n

 

\n\n

Group Workshops are run intermittently throughout the year as per the webpage and also on request to private groups. Cost range depending on numbers for private groups and venue costs but on average are $25 per person per hour with a minimum of 6 people. Groups are confirmed and a non- refundable deposit paid in advance.
