It is important to note that as bamboo is a natural product with natural variations in colour and shade we cannot guarantee against natural variations between colour of sample and colour of supplied floor.

\n\n\tWe warrant all our bamboo flooring, in its original manufactured state, to be free of any manufacturers defects.
\n\n\tOur bamboo flooring has a twenty five year warranty on the wear coating when used in residential applications and five year warranty on the wear coating when used in commercial applications, excluding mechanical problems such as indentation, scratches and/or surface damage caused by lack of proper protection and/or maintenance, moisture problems or abuse. Our responsibility under this warranty is to provide replacement material. Accessories including but not limited to stairnosing profiles are covered by a three year warranty for residential, one year for commercial. Gloss reduction is not considered surface wear.

\n\tBamboo is a natural product, containing natural variations in colour, tone and grain. We cannot guarantee against natural variations in each board nor differences between sample and colour of the floor. The installer is responsible for inspecting each board for colour, finish, size and other quality issues prior to installation.
\n\tShould there be any defects noted prior to installation we will replace the defective boards. We do not warrant installation, nor is it covered in claims.
\n\t
\n\n\tWe are not a shipping company and cannot warrant damage that may have occured while in transit. It is the customers responsibility to inspect all materials upon arrival. If any damage is identified it must be documented on the carriers consignment note and it is the customers responsibility to seek compensation from the shipping company.

\n\n\tMany suppliers will promote bamboo flooring as a termite proof alternative to other types of timber flooring. As bamboo is actually a grass and not a timber it is not a preferred food source for termites although our extensive research has shown that given an extreme infestation of termites the colony may turn to the bamboo as an alternative food source.
\n\n\tOur manufacturer adds a natural mineral to the bamboo during production to increase the termite resistance but as always, prevention is better than cure.

The Chinese climate is ideally suited to this species of bamboo and our our Bamboo Flooring is manufactured and certified to ISO9000 / 9001 quality assurance standards using precision modern state of the art German machining and finishing technology ensuring the highest quality product with colour consistency and precise tolerances.

\n\n\tOnly ‘Moso’ bamboo (species : phyllostachis pubescens) is used in the manufacture of our Bamboo Flooring. Moso bamboo is not eaten by the Giant Panda. They feed on Umbrella Bamboo (species : Fargesia Robusta) and Arrow Bamboo (species : Sinarundinaria). The Giant Panda are native to the Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces in central China. While the bamboo used for flooring is grown in the Anhui and Zhejiang provinces, hundreds of kilometres away from the Panda’s natural habitat.

\n\tAs a rule we recommend allowing an extra 5% wastage for cuts for a relatively standard shaped room.

\n\n\tOur bamboo flooring can be installed over any level and sound surface such as concrete, particle board, plywood or even over existing timber or tiled floors. Installation of the flooring can be done using the floated method of installation using a PE foam underlay or using the direct stick method with urethane adhesive. \n\nIndependent testing has shown bamboo flooring to be much more moisture stable and resistant than any other type of hardwood flooring. Our bamboo flooring is specially manufactured at a level of moisture content that has been tested to be the most suitable for all conditions. Like any type of timber flooring, bamboo should be allowed to acclimatise to local conditions on site for at least 72 hours prior to installation.

\n\nFrom time to time we hear of carpet retailers who are inexperienced with bamboo flooring and claim that it isn't a suitable option. More often than not this is just a poor sales technique and they are simply trying to sell you their own products that give them a greater margin. The funny thing is, they all still try to sell bamboo flooring to you when they realise you aren't interested in their other flooring options! With technology constantly evolving the methods used to manufacture and produce high quality environmentally friendly bamboo flooring are constantly changing. The tools required and installation methods are identical to all similar types of flooring. Alternatively the installation of bamboo flooring is a relatively simple DIY project.
