Castle Hill church playgroup is open to all community families. Mums, dads, grandparents, and carers are welcome to bring their babies, toddlers or children from 0-5 years, to participate in a range of structured activities. It’s run by friendly volunteers and with the support of the Castle Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Our playgroup is open Tuesdays from 9:45am–11:45am and is a not-for-profit activity, providing a safe and fun environment for children and their carers (mum, dad, grandparent, nanny…) to socialise and play.
\n\n\n\n
There is no membership or joining fee—just a gold coin donation per visit per family, so you have the flexibility of casual attendance. Playgroup does not meet on school or public holidays that fall on a Monday.
\n\n\n\n
Morning tea is provided for you and your child/ren. However, you may like to bring an alternative snack if you or your family have specific dietary requirements.

Our program runs to a flexible schedule:
\n\n\n\n
Free play—variety of activities: sandpit; puzzles; play dough; blocks, threading; prams/mowers, home corner; ball pit/slide.
\n\n
\n\nCraft time—optional craft (theme of the month) or free play.
\n\n\n\n
Morning Tea—children wash hands, then sing Grace, while sitting together at the table. Announcements followed by Birthday cake and gift for any birthday children.
\n\n
\n\nPack up, clean up—involving kids, to encourage helping.
\n\n
\n\nQuiet Play or Mat Time—stories, songs, group games.
\n\n
\n\nGoodbye song.
\n\n
