\nI'm Sam, owner of Edulis gardening. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
\nI am 28 years old, born and raised in Perth. After graduating high school, I pursued my avid interest in human nutrition and Personal health at university. Following uni, I decided to run with my growing passion for plants and study horticulture at TAFE, which I loved. It made sense to me to advance my knowledge and become qualified, as since the age of 17, I had always been involved with plants and horticulture in some capacity from working in nurseries to paid gardening jobs for people locally.

\nI have since racked up about 8 years in the landscape and retail hort industry. During the tail-end of my studies at TAFE, I started to become fascinated by the idea of providing for all my own food needs by growing my own fresh, tasty fruit and veg in my own backyard. I am a very passionate person and like many times before, my budding interest became a total obsession and I poured through whatever books and information I could get my hands on relating to the subjects of vegetable growing, self-sufficiency and urban farming.
In 2011, I embarked on an adventure to the eastern states for about 15 weeks where I completed a curriculum-based internship which taught me the fundamental principals and skills of natural farming. I also worked on many organic farms.

\nUpon my return home, I was more excited and enthused about growing-my-own than ever and soon after, I started my small business; Edulis gardening, with the intention of helping Perth families to become less dependant on supermarkets and experience the joy of growing their own food. Since i started my small business all those years ago, I have helped many Perth families around Perth's suburbs successfully grow their own fresh, nutrient-dense and flavoursome produce.
