I was lucky not to lose my home, but like many Blue Mountains residents I have been touched by the number of my close friends who have been affected by this devastating bushfire. I’ve also been both proud and amazed at the community support and camaraderie that exists within the Mountains.

Earlier this year we took the initiative to test more than 40 of our 60 window and door suites for use in a BAL-40 bushfire zone. It was no small feat to go through this process and hours of R&D has gone into developing a good quality range of systems suitable for bushfire zones. AWS will be participating in the upcoming BMEE Bushfire (Re) build EXPO being held at the Springwood Sports Club on the 22nd February 2014, between 10am -4pm. We will have samples and technical resources on hand as well as technical experts from our business to answer your questions.
