We are Gary and Lesley Lucas, we purchased the 28 site Campervan Park
\n\nand adjacent apartments in September of 2013. Gary is a Kiwi,
\n\nLesley is originally from England. We both trained in hotel management,
\n\nGary travelled to the UK on his OE where he met Lesley whilst working
\n\nin a hotel.
\n\n
\n\n25 years later, after developing and building a conference venue finding
\n\nand event management business (which we still operate, we decided to
\n\nemigrate back to Aotearoa – the land of the long white cloud; and were
\n\ndrawn to the Bay of Islands for the opportunities the area offers both for
\n\nbusiness, as well as pleasure – and don’t forget the weather!
\n\n
\n\nWe are both heavily involved in the local community and enjoy the
\n\nlifestyle on offer here through sailing, Gary's involvement in the volunteer
\n\nFire Service, sports (we own the local gym, The Bay Of Islands Fitness Hub and many other activities that await you during your stay with us.
\n\n
\n\nGary and Lesley are supported by a great team who will provide a warm and friendly welcome to the park. Brita, Becki and Tania will great you on arrival and our gorgeous gardens are kept looking great by groundsman John. We are all at hand to recommend things to do during your stay and point you in the right direction for the perfect vacation in the Bay of Islands.

\n\nThe property has historically had very strong ties in We welcome well-behaved pets in our apartments
\n\nthe local Maori community, with the previous owners and campervan park. All they ask is that you look
\n\ndeveloping the land and buildings over a 20 year period. after them and respect the property and fellow
\n\nPreviously known as Waiora (Healing Waters) Apartments guests. If you need Pet Day Care or an Overnight and Olive Grove Campervan Park, the land in the hills Kennels, Bears Pet Care owner Kaye and valley behind us are still held in comes highly recommended
