\n\n\t2) Show us what you have in Mind - Create a Lookbook
\n\n\t
\n\n\tSo many builders do not include their clients in what we believe is a very personal process. Before we meet, we’ll encourage you to create a “lookbook”. This is essentially a collage of photo’s or images of the style of home and finishes you might like.
\n\n\t
\n\n\tWe can help inspire this process by showing you a collection of images and work we’ve done in the past. You might like one of our homes or perhaps something else you’ve seen and want to incorporate into your own personal design.
\n\n\t
\n\t3) Let’s start working together – FREE Consultation
\n\t
\n\n\tLets meet up at your place and share some ideas for your project. You tell us what you have in mind and let us make a few of our own recommendations. After all, we’ve been designing and building homes for years and we’re passionate about helping others.
\n\n\t
\n\t
\n\t4) Concept
\n\t
\n\n\tLets put our ideas onto paper. We’ll develop both a concept plan and 3D view for your new home, renovation or new kitchen or bathroom project. This service includes a site measure, basic floor plan and 3D sketch view of your project. We’ll also give you a price guide for the completion of your project and determine whether it suits your requirements and budget.
\n\n\t
\n\n\tIf you liked our new kitchen or bathroom concepts, you can proceed to signing a tender document and a building contract. We’ll help you pick your colours, appliances and finishes and proceed with the construction.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t
\n\n\t5) Plan Preparation
\n\n\t
\n\n\tIf you’re happy with our concept plans for your new home or renovation, we will prepare a tender price for the coordination of all consultants involved with the preparation of formal plans and documents to be lodged to council.
\n\n\t
\n\n\tIf you decide to proceed, we will appoint one of Sydney’s leading architects to begin drawing plans to lodge to your local council. This part of the process may vary depending on the type of your project. New homes and larger renovations will require a greater extent of professionals involved, for example, surveyors, geotechnical, structural, & hydraulic engineers as a start will all be co-ordinated to ensure your home plans are lodged with your local council and are approved in the shortest possible timeframe.

\n\t6) Tender Document
\n\t
\n\n\tA preliminary tender for the construction of your home will be prepared. You can review it in your own time and make adjustments, adding or deleting specific items as you require. You may accept the tender within 21 days. Once you’ve signed the preliminary tender, we will ask for a 1% deposit to proceed and you will be protected from any price increases for up to 180 days.
\n\n\t7) Colour Selection and Specifications
\n\n\t
\n\n\tAt Crown Homes, we ensure you are involved throughout the whole process. We make sure you are able to include your own personality into your home.
\n\n\tAt this stage, a Dulux colour consultant will help you choose colours for your home. You can also select the style of bricks, roof tiles and floor finishes you like right through to the appliances, toilets, baths and lights. You might even want to simply enjoy the ride and let one of our design experts make the choices for you based on a set budget.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t
\n\t8) Sign Building Contract
\n\t
\n\n\tWe will present a final tender document for your signature based on the selections you’ve made above. You will also be invited to sign a Master Builders Association Residential Building Contract (BC4).
\n\n\tA letter of loan approval from your bank and a deposit to begin building will be required at this stage.
\n\n\t
\n\n\t9) Building your dream home
\n\n\t
\n\n\tOnce your local Council approves all plans and a Construction Certificate is issued, we will begin building your home to the high standards well known with Crown Homes. Most our work is repeat or referral work so we need to keep the standards high.
\n\n\t
\n\n\tUnlike many other builders, we believe clear, honest and open lines of communication makes for good friends. We will arrange regular meetings with you on site which allows you to view the progress of your home.
\n\n\t
\n\n\tWhen the construction of your house is completed, your building supervisor will arrange for a handover inspection and you can collect the keys to your new home.
