The core skill that you will learn is ‘mindfulness’ — a way of paying attention, on purpose and non-judgmentally, to what goes on in the present moment in your body, mind, and the world around you. Mindfulness is not the same as meditation but can lead to improved meditation practice.</span></p>\n\n<p class=\"font_8\" style=\"line-height: 1.4em;\">&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">Mindfulness can help you to see things differently. It can increase your sense of personal confidence and you are likely to gain a sense of having more options because you will realise you can choose to react differently to your life.</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\"><em>Mindfulness can help you manage stress, anxiety, depression, grief, anger and addiction.</em></p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">With regular Mindfulness practice you will build up more strength and knowledge to face the different challenges and difficulties in your life. We will learn to bring awareness and a sense of inner peace that can bring lasting benefits such as more energy and enthusiasm, a greater capacity for relaxation, more self-confidence and an increased ability to handle difficult situations, and to be more present in your daily life.</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\">&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p class=\"font_7\"><strong>What happens in a Mindfulness workshop?</strong><br>\nWe will learn about and practice different kinds of Mindfulness practice designed to deepen your awareness through assisting you to tune into your actual experience of the moment – becoming more responsive and less reactive.
