Christine has been providing fit-for-purpose risk management solutions for the resources sector since 2014. She specializes in designing strategies for small- and mid-tier companies that leverage and improve their current risk management programs. Prior to consulting, Christine was Director of Enterprise Risk Management at Xstrata Nickel (2010-2013) where she developed and implemented a leading-edge Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across seven global mining and project sites (ISO 31000-aligned). She worked closely with C-level executives and diverse teams from the boardroom to the minesite to define and implement the company’s risk management strategy.

With over 20 years in the industry, Christine has worked as an exploration geologist on grassroots, advanced and underground projects across Canada. She was the Site Manager for the Kabanga Project in Tanzania during its scoping and pre-feasibility stages (2005-2008). Christine has also held a variety of corporate roles within the business development, sustainability and strategic leadership teams at Xstrata Nickel/Glencore. She is a Professional Geoscientist in the Province of Ontario (Canada). Christine helped develop and taught the Risk Management in Mining course (CZMM421) at Chang School, Ryerson University in 2015.
