\n\nAs being descendants from Adam we have all been born in his likeness, and subject to the same kind of corruption, disgrace and death; we shall also be raised to a life immortal, such as he now enjoys in the kingdom of God. This proceeds on the ground that what is here spoken belongs to Adam in his twofold state – mortality and immortality -; of disgrace and honor, of earth and heaven.

\n\nJesus sets into place the two principles which pose stumbling blocks for most modern Christians: the repudiation of privilege based on wealth and the repudiation of retaliation that spawns violence. Choir practices from 7.3 p.m. – 8.30 p.m. on a Tuesday night in St Thomas Aquinas Church, and sings at the 9.00 a.m. Mass on the first Sunday of each month. Please consider coming along. You will be warmly welcomed.

\n\n\n\n
Monday Morning Mass: Each Monday morning the La Valla community has mass in the Chapel of the Visitation, commencing at 7.15 am. All in the parish are welcome to join us. Please park in the La Valla car park. On other week day mornings at 7.15 am and Thursday evenings at 5.30 pm the La Valla community gathers for prayer. You are welcome to come along and join us for this time.
\n\n\n\n
Reflection Morning: On the second Tuesday of each month we are offering a short reflection time with a variety of themes which is open to all in the parish. This will commence at 9.30 am and finish with morning tea at 10.30 am. There is no cost. Why not consider coming along to take some personal time to nourish your spiritual world? Our first reflection will be on Tuesday March 12th, then on April 9th and May 14th. For catering purposes please register your interest by ringing the office on 4872 1911. The theme for our first gathering is ‘How do we nurture the spiritual within’?
