Hello, I’m Wendy O’Brien. I’ve been a Marriage Celebrant since 2008 and in that time, I’ve loved being involved with many couples, planning for and officiating at their weddings.

Weddings are such happy occasions and it’s a joy to be part of them. I always feel so lucky to be standing with the groom and watching the emotions unfold as the bride walks down the aisle towards us. I wanted to become a celebrant because I have always loved love! I wanted to help couples create their perfect wedding - and, for every couple that means something different. I also love travelling, so feel free to contact me, no matter the destination or venue of your wedding.

I am currently based in Melbourne, but will be moving to the Bellarine Peninsula in the near future. I am warm, calm and professional and I aim to put you at ease, so that you can truly enjoy your special day. Most couples put a lot of thought into the little things that are important to them, but sometimes the day goes so fast, that the little things can get swept over. I want to help you to capture and hold on to every magic moment of the day.

I offer:
\n\nA no-obligation meeting for an informal chat, so that you can decide if I’m the celebrant for you. This meeting can be at my home, your home or at a mutually agreed venue.
\n\tA stress-free service, taking care of all planning for the ceremony and the legal requirements for your marriage. After the initial meeting, most details can be taken care of via email and phone.
\n\tYour wedding ceremony will be unique and created to your wishes. You may want a traditional ceremony, or something quite different. Whatever you choose, I will tailor the ceremony for you.
\n\tA pre-wedding rehearsal is part of my service.
\n\tI guarantee that your wedding will be the only ceremony at which I officiate on the day. You will have my full attention and if there are any little glitches on the day, I will help to deal with whatever comes along!
\n\tMy battery powered Public Address system can be used to play your music and provide amplification for the ceremony, to ensure all your guests can hear.
\n\tA multitude of wedding resources to give you ideas when planning your ceremony.
