Elizabeth Trevan has been developing her role as a civil celebrant in Sydney since 2004 conducting weddings, funerals, same-sex unions and naming days. Over the years, she has found a passion for creating ceremonies that are written in collaboration with the couple, which are authentic to their style and personalities. There can be no greater compliment from a friend or relative of the couple who witness such an event, that the ceremony was “so them” and this is something to aspire to.

It is important part of her practice to get to know the couple, understand their humour, love and lifestyle and assist them in creating a ceremony that is fun, personally-crafted and beautifully orchestrated. Through her professionalism and desire to develop a balanced approach to such an important rite of passage, she inspires couples and opens the way for them to use their own creativity to craft a ceremony that will proudly be remembered for a lifetime.
