Joy is a qualified and experienced adult educator and counsellor. She developed an interest in the place of money in overall well-being some years ago and is now fulfilling her vision of working with women to improve their financial well-being. She works with individuals, couples and small groups to:

Teach money topics such as Making Your KiwiSaver Work for You, Money Personality Types, Preparing for Retirement, Money Habitudes.

Counsel couples to recognise their money differences and decide on ways of managing their money so that both partners’ needs are satisfied.

Individual Coaching to reduce debt, begin a savings plan, manage excessive spending, reduce stress fear and worry around your money management and financial future.

Joy does not sell nor endorse any financial products. Unlike banks and most financial institutions, her education sessions are truly impartial. She works with you to identify your money personality, your basic values and life goals, and to show you ways of managing your money to achieve those goals. You can then approach other finance professionals with the confidence of knowing that you already know what savings and investment products suit you best.
\nJoy has a Masters degree in Counselling, and Educational Psychology and has taught at both university and polytechnics. She has studied Personal Finance at Massey University and is currently completing her Certificate in Financial Services.
