You do not need a referral to see us. However, a Mental Health Care Plan or a Primary Enhanced Care Plan, for yourself, or your child, from your GP or Paediatrician will allow you to claim a rebate ($84.80 per session) for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Please bring your referral and Plan with you to your initial appointment to receive a rebate.

\n\nIf you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for a rebate. Your provider and level of cover will determine how much you can claim for psychological services. You may claim either a private health insurance rebate, or Medicare rebate, not both.
\n\nIf you are self-managed under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), you can make an appointment and pay privately using your funding. If you are not self-managed, you can make an appointment and we organise payment.

\n\nTherapy appointments are scheduled for 50-60 minutes. Separate appointments are generally made for review and feedback sessions with parent/s or when parent support is required to allow time to speak freely without their child present.

Appointments for assessments vary but are generally 90 minutes, and can be over several sessions. Cost of assessments varies according to complexity of assessment – to be discussed at time of booking and/or at the initial session.

Requests for additional reports, letters to funding agencies, non-standard letters to medical practitioners will incur a fee.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please advise our reception staff as soon as possible so that we are able to offer the time to another client. Less than 24 hours of cancellation notice or no attendance will incur a scheduled appointment fee.
