We are currently looking for an Intern (unpaid position) to work with Salsa Kingz at the Sydney head office with a pontential to advance in the company. The successful applicant will work one day per week to assist with a wide variety of administrative tasks with a progressive career path in the music industry for the right candidate.
\n\n\n\n
The main responsibilities include online research, preparing reports, managing databases, online research, ordering stock, mail outs and other general support as required. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands on experience in the music industry and shape your future career!

\nIf you would like to be considered and meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you!

Currently undertaking education in Marketing, Business, PR, Communications, Music or other related area (first or second year preferred).
\n\tMicrosoft Office skills; including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
\n\tFacebook Skills preferred
\n\tStrong attention to detail and good time management skills.
\n\tLove music!

\nFor over 10 years now we have been running a string of succesful performances, Showcase gigs, Club gigs, and even performing with international Latin artist such as Jimmy Bosch. We are now looking to give a new generation of sigers and musicians a start in the music scene, giving new talent the opportunity to do their thing live.

Able to speak and sing fluent Spanish & English.
\n\tHave previous stage experience.
\n\tAged between 25-40
\n\tMust have showmanship skills
\n\t\n\n
Potentially writing your own musical compositions (but not essential)
\n\tRehearsing musical compositions for future performances
\n\tSinging musical compositions
\n\tWorking to interpret existing musical compositions
\n\tWorking with other musicians, music producers and
\n\tentertainment industry professionals.
\n\nAbove avarage positive attitude
\n\tAbility to work effectively in a team enviroment
\n\tExcellent singing voice and/or musical instrument abilities.
\n\tPublic speaking/singing skills a bonus
\n\tVibrant and energetic personality
\n\tViewing text and comprehending sentences and paragraphs
\n\tAble to sing in Spanish is preferred but not essential.

You will be working in a very wide array of circumstances, locations and venues, including everything from nightclubs and bars to recording studios, concert halls and even stadiums and similar venues. The majority of the work is indoors and in front of a live audience or rehearsing with other musicians and our others affiliate bands. When in the recording studio, singers may need to spend many hours to achieve a desired and optimal sound.
