Christian Guerrero is an award winning Australian born Latin entertainer of Chilean desent. His charismatic personality coupled with his natural showmanship skills provides him the unique ability to engage audiences from all walks of life both as a “performer” and as “Master of Ceremonies”. Christian is a true showman in his field possessing the rare ability and feel for Show Business that has earned him the position as one of Australia's leading entertainers.

\nHis performing style includes Jazz, Swing, Latin, Soul, Rock and Pop. Christian is a self contained entertainer that can easily adapt to any event by interpreting with conviction some of the greatest singers of all time, from Elvis Presley to Michael Bublé and from Dean Martin to Ricky Martin. Whether performing as a solo artist, or accompanied with showgirls and a full orchestra, Christian delivers time after time with the highest integrity and grace that wows audiences to their feet with his true Latino flare and style.

His band currently holds four nominations for "Best Show Band" nominated through out 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. In 2013 they won the Latin American Entertainment Business Awards and most recently, they won the prestigious ACE Awards for BEST SHOWBAND 2014 & 2015 (awarded by the Australian Club Entertainment Committee). Christian is also the recipient of many community recognition awards including Darling Harbour "VIVA FIESTA" and the “Marcia Legacy Award” presented by the Sydney Latin Festival organisation .

Christian has succesfully produced a number of different groups inclucing the the ACE award winning band the: Salsa Kingz. He regularly performs either as a solo cabaret act, as Master of Ceremonies or as an entertainer with his own 10 piece Latin show-band. His passion for Latin music has taken him to stages all over Australian and through out Asia Pacific.

BIOGRAPHY:

Christian Guerrero was born and raised in Sydney by his Latino Chilean parents. His passion for show business started at the early age of 5 when he would play as a child DJ with the family vinal collection. His first experience in showbiz started at the age of 10 where he began his connection with the stage as a folkloric Chilean dancer. He later developed his passion for live music when he joined the school brass band in 1986. He quickly went on to join his first Rock band as guitarist in 1987. It was whilst at school that he fell in love with Latin Music and wasn't long before he joined his first working Latin band "Piña Colada" at the age of 16. He later joined his first professional band Sonora Galaxia in 1991 taking him to stages all over Australia and around Asia Pacific.

In 2001 Christian officially joins the Cabaret club circuit performing regularly as guest artist in club shows and many production shows as part of the team at Six Pak Productions Pty. Ltd. In 2004 Christian launches his brand new band: the Salsa Kingz, with the aim of bringing Latin tropical music to Australia with a new direction of fusing Latin with Australian culture.

Although Christian's performance style and experience ranges from Jazz Standards to the latest Pop tunes, and from Rock 'n Roll to Latin Pop, his true passion still lies with the traditional Latin rhythms in the style of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha Cha & Boleros.

Christian is passionate about fusing Latin music with a unique Australian musical style. By keeping Latin music alive Christian hopes to inspire audiences from all walks of life to experience the passion and fusion of LIVE Latin music mixed with an exciting "Aussie style".
