How far in advance do we need to book our wedding or lifestyle photography?

\n\nCertain months are more popular than others but generally I would say that you should book your wedding photographer at least 1 year before your wedding, however it is not unusual for me to accept a booking within a few weeks of the wedding.

\n\nFor any lifestyle shoot I would say 6 weeks is more than enough time but I would never turn away any last minute bookings. If you are wanting to book a newborn session, all I need is your due date and I will keep the days around this date free. The best time to photograph a newborn is between 7 and 10 days old.

\n\nDo you require a holding fee for bookings?
\n\n
\n\nYes, once you complete the booking forms you will be required to pay a holding fee. The balance needs to be settled 1 month before the shoot.
\n\nA 30% deposit is required for weddings.
\n\nA $150.00 deposit is required for any lifestyle or newborn shoot.

\n\nWhere will you travel to for a wedding or lifestyle shoot?

\n\nAnywhere really, I love to shoot at different locations however I do charge 50c per km for locations more than 30 km from Jannali.
\n\nNewborn shoots will always take place in the comfort of your own home.

Who owns the copyright to our photos?
\n\n
\n\nYou will own joint copyright to all the photos on your USB. This allows me to use the images for my website, marketing, etc but you are free to print, email and upload to Facebook. They are yours to enjoy.

Are we able to print our own images from the USB?
\n\n
\n\nAbsolutely, all the photos are edited and ready to go in high resolution. Nowadays, it is so easy to find a budget supplier to make prints, canvases and albums with your digital files, however, finding the right place that will consistently do an amazing job with your images is not that easy. I offer a complete professional printing service where you will get the best quality prints to showcase your beautiful memories.

Do you have a specific process that you follow when planning a wedding shoot?
\n\n
\n\nYes indeed, I am super organised, I am even known as the "filofax” to my husband. At least 1 month before the wedding we will arrange to meet at the venue and church to have a look around and start building ideas for those great photographs. I will then put together a shooting schedule of the day, who is doing what and most importantly where I need to be as well as putting together a list of the group shots. This means that we will have a stress free day and much more fun.

\n\nOnce we have booked your session and your deposit has been paid, we will then start our discussion around locations, outfits, what to expect and much more. I will guide you through the entire process, so there is no need for you to stress.

\n\nYour photo's will be ready within in 3 weeks after your shoot.

Can we add any additional albums, prints, wall pieces to our existing package at a later date?

\n\nOf course, you are more than welcome to add any additions. Most clients tend to wait a month or so after the wedding or photo shoot and then come back to get their favourite images displayed. I will keep your images for 1 year, so you have plenty of time.
