After several years globe-trotting around Europe, Asia and South America, where we primarily favoured staying in local B&B’s, pensions, farmstays and small hotels, we began to put together some ideas about what we loved to find in our temporary homes from home, and decided to put them into practice here, at The Haven at Berry.

\nMost important to making one feel at home, is a sense of comfort and welcome, a little luxury in the decor and what is provided as standard. Having one’s needs catered for without having to ask for everything as an ‘extra’ is a definite plus. It is also essential to have the option of peace and privacy or a more social sojourn if you wish it. We also wanted to be able to cater both for couples seeking a weekend away from it all, and for families looking for relaxation, taking into account the needs of children and at the same time giving their parents the chance to really unwind.

\nOur luxury villas are situated in such a way that the privacy of our guests will be maintained and their different requirements will not impinge on others.

\nWe are also very conscious of green living ethics and keen to use renewable and ethical sources where possible. We intend to tread as lightly on the earth as we can. Consequently you will find eco and energy conscious products used and free-range or pesticide free options favoured. We recycle as much as possible and use locally sourced options and Australian made wherever we can, and it is our intention to gradually work with these tenets throughout as we have need to replace items and renovate the properties.
