Bakery Lane Cakes is devoted to producing high-quality custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies. We belive our prices reflect the unique nature of our products. The number flavour, design, and the number of servings will all influence the price of your cake.

The minimum charge for a cake is $150. On average our cakes cost $5-$7 per serving, but can be as much as $9 per serving for a more detailed design. Two-tiered cakes generally start at about $300 and our 3D specialty cakes start at $375.

We have a one-dozen minimum order size for cupcake orders, and minimum of 24 for our mini cupcakes. We can produce any number (including odd numbers) above 12. Discounts are available for orders of more than 150 standard-size cupcakes.

We offer two sizes of cupcakes: standard muffin-size and mini. The standard cakes are about the size of a home-made muffin and the mini's are about two bites.

Standard size cupcakes start at $3.50 each - this price is for a custom cupcake (your choice of flavour, cupcake paper, buttercream or fudge icing and icing colour) and simple decoration such as cachous, edible glitter etc.
\n\n
Standard size cupcakes with fondant only decorations start at $4.50 each - this price reflects decorations such as letters, butterflies and other custom made fondant decorations.
\n\n
Standard size cupcakes with buttercream icing and fondant decorations such as sugar flowers, butterflies, letters etc start at $6.00 each. More complex cupcake designs are priced individually.

Mini-cupcakes start at $2.00 each and will increase depending on decoration.

The cost for delivery to Melbourne CBD and inner suburbs is $35. We will quote a cost for delivery to other areas on request. Deliveries are always made Monday to Saturday: Sunday deliveries are available by request.

We can also come and set up your cakes, cupcakes & cookies for you, Deliveries with a set-up are priced according to location, with a minimum charge of $75.

If we organise delivery for you, our liability ceases once the goods are delivered and set up at your venue.
\n\n
\n\n
Please give us as much notice as possible for deliveries. A minimum of 72 hours notice is required.
